Biogem (Biologia e genetica molecolare) è una società consortile tra vari Enti pubblici di ricerca situato in Campania ad Ariano Irpino (AV).

Il centro con i vari laboratori occupa una superficie complessiva di 33.000 metri quadrati, di cui 8.200 coperti (laboratori e uffici); nonostante il considerevole incremento degli spazi serviti, Biogem, grazie all’utilizzo di fonti rinnovabili e ad interventi di coibentazione, ha più che dimezzato la spesa energetica negli ultimi dieci anni e continua a scegliere soluzioni ecologiche e con elevate prestazioni di efficienza energetica.

Il miglioramento dell’isolamento termico delle strutture, l’aumento dei carichi termici dovuti all’illuminazione o alla presenza di ampie superfici vetrate, fanno sì che, nelle stagioni intermedie, l’impianto debba raffreddare alcune zone e contemporaneamente scaldarne delle altre.

In questo caso EXP Systems, nella configurazione per impianti a 4 tubi, rappresenta una soluzione completa molto conveniente.

Per questo importante centro di ricerca, Rhoss ha fornito due unità EXP con gas ecologico R454B in sostituzione al classico impianto a 4 tubi chiller e caldaia, affidando al sistema polivalente EXP il compito di garantire le condizioni ideali in ogni spazio e in ogni stagione.

Con questo intervento di sostituzione, il cliente limiterà fortemente l’uso della centrale termica a gas in quanto potrà usufruire dei notevoli recuperi energetici ed economici grazie alle prestazioni tipiche del sistema polivalente EXP.

Le unità EXP ad alta efficienza installate, 2 WinPOWER ECO EXP da oltre 600 kW cadauna, servono a climatizzare tutto il centro e consentono di gestire le particolari condizioni climatiche (molto restrittive) che devono essere garantite anche nella zona stabulario in cui è fondamentale avere la corretta temperatura durante tutto l’anno.

The campus with its numerous laboratories extends over an area of 33,000 sqm (of which 8,200 are labs and office buildings); despite the considerable increase in the spaces occupied, Biogem has more than halved its energy expenditure in the last ten years thanks to the use of renewable sources and insulation interventions and continues to choose environmentally friendly solutions with high energy efficiency performance.

Improved thermal insulation in buildings, the increase in the thermal loads due to the lighting and the presence of large windows, lead to the system having to cool certain areas while having to heat others during spring and autumn.

In this case, when th EXP Systems unit is configured for 4-pipe systems, it represents a very convenient, complete solution.

For this important research centre, Rhoss supplied two EXP units with ecological R454B refrigerant gas to replace the classic 4-pipe chiller and boiler system, giving the EXP multipurpose system the task of guaranteeing ideal conditions in every space and in every season.

With this replacement operation, the customer will greatly limit the use of the gas central heating plant as it will be able to take advantage of the considerable energy and economic savings thanks to the performance typical of the multi-purpose EXP system.

The high-efficiency EXP units installed, 2 WinPOWER ECO EXP units of over 600 kW each, are used to air-condition the entire centre and make it possible to manage the climatic conditions (very restrictive) that must also be guaranteed in the enclosure area where it is essential to have the correct temperature all year round.
